Custom Wine Cellars

Custom Designed Wine Cellars:

From the first site visit to the precise and custom installation, each Wine Cellar is custom-designed to integrate the greatest bottle storage requirements with vivid, spectacular displays. We work closely with our clients through the design process, providing clients with full 3D visualizations to ensure an accurate representation of the end product.  Aesthetics are not the only key to a perfectly-designed wine cellar.  We pay special attention to the overall climate control and long-term functionality of the desired space.  In the end, you can be assured that your prized assets are protected by the best in climate technologies to assure the finest wine today will be the finest for many years to come.

Consultation and Design:

Included in every cellar design is a documented design draft and detailed 3D rendering of the project created with our design software for the clients’ perusal. Included in this are alternate views with listed options and notable features of the cellar. This design package is intended to begin customer-manufacturer collaboration. The result is the development of a cellar that reflects the manufacturer’s expertise and presents the client’s own personal expression of design.

To do this, we perform a preliminary consultation and site visit. We are dedicated to serving the specific needs of our clients. In our site visits, we qualify the wishes of the client and take full dimensions of the space. This personal touch gives us an idea of the client’s tastes, as well as an opportunity to blend their new cellar with their existing décor.

The next stage is design, where we create a computer model of the future cellar. The design and presentation capabilities of the software are extensive and extremely adaptive to the modification of each design at every stage of blueprint development. This provides the client and designer alike with endless design options and possibilities at a moment’s notice, saving valuable time for both parties. Implementing our service also provides the ability to keep a steady, imaginative design process to help craft a design as inspired and ingenious as possible, while limiting the design time to a minimum.
The design service is available to the client after contact with a Wine Vault sales consultant has been established and the initial design concept has been discussed. A deposit is charged for the completion of the design and for the project layout package issued to the client for imagery clarification and collaboration purposes.

On submission of the final design concept to the client, the quoted price for the project is also included as well as a purchase order form. Half of the design deposit is refunded towards the final project cost on approval of the final design by the client and once the authorized purchase order from the client has been accepted by Wine Vault.

Installation & Service:

Wine Vault specializes in customer care and wine preservation.  As part of the design and/or construction phase of the wine cellar, we are here to help our collectors through every step of the process.  Our goal is to have an end product that meets the desires of the wine collector’s personal taste and the long-term needs of their collection.

For an initial consultation, please contact us at (604)805-4725.

  • Step 1: Design Consultation

Our design process begins with getting an understanding of both your space as well as your current and future wine collection.  We will acknowledge all of your objectives and design requests, then apply them to the initial design concept.

  • Step 2: Design Presentation & Quote

With the information gathered in Step 1, we will design and present a 3D concept drawing and quote for your cellar that will specify every detail to help build the cellar of your dreams.  These drawings can be revised to make sure every detail is spot-on.

  • Step 3: Room Preparation

Functionality within the wine cellar is just as important as design.  We specialize in making sure the entire envelope of the space is properly insulated, sealed and climate-controlled. All electrical and plumbing (if necessary) details will be defined, and final dimensions will be taken to be sure the custom shop work is completed to perfection.

  • Step 4: Build & Installation

Once the cellar components are built and shop work is completed, they will be professionally packaged and shipped to site.  Our installation team will assemble the cellar, lighting and climate control.

  • Step 5: Stocking

It is now time to organize and stock your new wine cellar.  Whether your collection was kept offsite or at home during the process, we can help map out and arrange your bottles so it is easy to track.  Using a cloud-based system, we can also take a detailed inventory of your wines that will allow you to keep track of tasting notes, scores, drinking windows and locations of your bottles.
